Another green award for 3 Dimensional Print!

3 Dimensional Print have attained level 1 of the Green Mark Environmental Award Scheme, this follows hot on the heels of their FSC accreditation received in November 2007.

3 Dimensional Print, manufacturers of specialist three dimensional point-of-sale print items received their Green Mark level 1 certificate on the 3rd April 2008. On receiving the certificate Paul Manning managing director of 3 Dimensional Print commented “We are delighted to have gained accreditation to Green Mark. It sends a clear message to both our clients and suppliers that as a company we take environmental issues seriously and in a small way are doing what we can to reduce our impact on the environment. Staff members are fully behind our efforts in this respect and we are continuing to look for ways of improving our performance.”

By achieving the level 1 Green Mark certification 3 Dimensional Print have demonstrated they are complying with the current Green Mark Environmental legislation, identified waste streams and put appropriate waste contractors in place with all waste transfer notes recorded. By taking these actions 3 Dimensional Print have reduced their waste going to landfill by 50% and increased their recyclable waste by 50%. This certifi cation in addition to the FSC accreditation achieved back in November 2007 ensures the materials used are from an FSC sustainable source and any waste is managed in accordance with Green Mark legislation. Paul Manning also added “It is surprising how simple changes to procedures can have a significant beneficial impact.”
